If you have a piano you care about, it's important and easy to schedule regular maintenance.
Pianos that are well-maintained by their owners and tuned regularly can be beautifully tuned.
Each tuning is like a performance
that is influenced by the tuner's understanding of that particular piano
and his relationship to the piano's owner.
In a sense, a tuning is like a search for a piano's ideal sound; the
piano's soul.
And when a fine tuner can achieve that, arpeggiated chords sound
heavenly and the simplest music played on it can take away the breath.
Tuning since 1975, John Geist considers each tuning experience both a
challenge and a joy. He helps each client assess how frequently
their piano should be tuned based on the piano's usage, environment and
owner's needs and we contact our clients according to that schedule so
they don't have to keep track of when it is time for tuning.

provides you with ease and flexibility. For as low as $11/month that
is automatically charged to your card or account through PayPal, you can
have your piano tuned regularly. With the economy being what it is, we
wanted to find a way to better serve our clients. Here are some extra
benefits you’ll receive by subscribing:

Terms and conditions:
1.
“We” refers to Geist Piano Tuning, sole proprietorship of
John Geist. “You” refers to you the customer. The terms and conditions
herein constitute a contract between Geist Piano Tuning and the
Customer.
2.
The Monthly Payment Option plan is a subscription-type
recurring monthly charge offered by Geist Piano Tuning. When you
subscribe, you are agreeing according to these terms and conditions.
3.
You are agreeing to have a monthly recurring charge made
against your account in the amount you select when choosing your Monthly
Payment Option.
4.
You are agreeing to completing payments of 6 or 12 months
(depending on the tuning schedule you select) for tuning services
provided.
5.
You may cancel at any time.
6.
If you cancel and have received tuning services that have
not been fully paid for through your monthly payments, we will bill you
for the balance (pro-rated: e.g., 12 months of payments pay for an
annual tuning for 1 piano; if only 6 payments have been made towards a
tuning already provided, a lump sum of 6 more months will be charged.)
7.
If you cancel and have a credit balance toward services we
have not provided, we’ll refund the balance.
8.
To say it simply, we’re making an agreement together that
you will pay in full for services we provide. If we provide services
before we’ve been paid in full, you are agreeing to pay the balance
according to these terms and conditions.
9.
If you schedule a tuning prior to your tuning being fully
paid for through the Monthly Payment Option, then you have 3 options: 1)
pay the remaining balance in a lump sum at the time of tuning; 2)
continue on the monthly plan, knowing that we have a contract between us
that you agree to complete payments for services provided (see item 6
above); 3) negotiate a different payment arrangement with us.
10.
You must be subscribed for at least 2 months before tuning
services will be provided, unless you agree to pay the remaining balance
at the tuning.
11.
There are geographical limitations to this offer, since
the tuner must travel to your site. If you are within roughly 35 miles
radius from San Rafael, we should be able to accommodate you. We also
tune once per year in the Tracy/Modesto area. If you are unsure about
whether we can accommodate you due to your location, please
contact us to discuss.
12.
You will receive a 10% discount on repairs while your
Monthly Payment Option plan is active.
This is a new plan and terms and conditions may
change. We will notify all subscribers if we need to modify anything
about the agreement so you can make an informed decision about
continuing.
